Our Afternoon Galveston Bay trip offers a relaxed and rewarding way to spend the latter part of the day on the water.

We depart at 2:00 p.m. and fish through sunset — timing our trip to take advantage of the cooler evening temperatures and the strong late-day bite.

As the sun begins to drop, bait becomes active and predator fish follow. Depending on the season and conditions, we target speckled trout, redfish around wells, reefs, shorelines, and mid-bay structures. We’ll use proven techniques such as live bait under a popping cork, fishing the bottom, or throwing artificials — adjusting our approach to match the conditions and maximize success.
