What to Expect
Enjoy the grandeur of the Big Bend through a full day river trip on the tranquil waters of the lower Rio Grande, complete with a delicious riverside lunch! There are many beautiful canyon sections to choose from in the Big Bend and water levels often dictate what is available. We will choose the best trip at the time for your adventure. Options include Hot Springs Canyon, Santa Elena Canyon and Colorado Canyon.
Well suited for families and first-timers, and we welcome paddlers of all ages and abilities, with a minimum age of 6 years old. You should be in normal good health and prepared for the moderate exertion of paddling and possible swimming.
Canoes and hardshell sit on top kayaks will be the standard for low water trips. Higher flows allowing downstream trips will be done in rafts.

Cancellation Policy
Reservation cancellation more than 2 weeks before trip date receives a refund minus 10% of trip cost. Less than two weeks before trip date forfeits deposit. A cancellation within 24hrs or a “no-show” on the day of the trip will result in full-payment.
