About
CookLearnGrow Culinary Academy Taste of America – Exploring American Cultures Through Food
In this hands-on, project-based class, students explore how food connects people and cultures across the United States. Through cooking, tasting, and research, they’ll discover regional ingredients, flavors, and traditions while learning how history, geography, and cultural influences have shaped American cuisine. Students will investigate the foods of different regions—from the Northeast and South to the Midwest, Southwest, and West Coast—and examine the contributions of diverse communities to America’s food culture. Skills developed: cultural literacy, culinary technique, teamwork, research, creativity, presentation skills.
What to bring
- Aprons are encouraged.
- Closed toe shoes.
- Please have long hair pulled back.
Late Fee Policy
A $1-per-minute late fee applies after 5 minutes. It must be paid within 24 hours. After two late pickups, your child may no longer attend, and no refunds will be issued.
