What to Expect
Do protected bike lanes make you happy? How about a bike-only roundabout? Would you like to see a whole neighborhood planned around active transportation? Then this is the tour for you!
BikeTexas has produced infrastructure tours for transportation engineers, planners, municipal staff and elected officials for decades. Our conference mobile workshops are always crowd favorites... but they aren't open to the public. This is your chance to come take a spin around town accompanied by one of our staff infrastructure experts at a time that works for you. Along the way we can talk funding, politics, and PCC vs flexible pavement.
Our ride will cover between 10 and 20 miles, depending on what you want to see. We can optionally stop for a snack, beverage, and discussion. Please come dressed for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. You may bring your own helmet or borrow one of ours.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the staff scheduling requirements for this tour, all cancellations must be made one week in advance.
Weather: Your tour guide will contact you directly in event of a weather cancellation. You will be offered an option to rebook or receive a refund. Weather cancellations typically occur if the temperature is under 50 or above 105, winds are over 20 mph, lightning strikes, or force majeure.
