What to Expect
Home school students ages 4-13 will enjoy an afternoon of exploring the farm with their peers.
Our unique curriculum is suitable for all ages and adaptable for follow up learning at home. The April 22nd date will be Earth Day themed and have a global focus while the May 16th date will focus on our local ecology and farming practices.
The day begins with a group lesson in ecology followed by small group rotation. Be sure to bring a lunch to enjoy in our picnic area!
- Walk through the garden with hands on lesson
- Trip to the petting zoo
- Nature hike
- hay ride to the bee yard (safe observation distance)
- Free time to eat lunch in our shaded picnic area and play afterward.
