What to Expect

  • An adventurous horseback ride up Controbando Mesa with sweeping views into Mexico, trailing along the edge of cliffs and canyons.
  • Our Lajitas Stables trails are geared towards those who have quite a sense of adventure and are athletic. Adventurous beginners welcome!!

Includes

We ride horses, donkeys, and mules!
A walking trail ride
A safety talk and an individual riding instruction
Lunch is provided out on trail. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Restrictions

  • Weight Limit of 250 LBS. Anyone at over 230lbs needs to call the office before they can book to check for availability & suitability. Riders must be able to mount/dismount with no assistance and have no issues with balance.
  • These trails are quite rocky, rugged, and are steep in many sections. We will ride along the side of edges, so not for those with vertigo or scared about heights.
