What to Expect
- An adventurous horseback ride up Controbando Mesa with sweeping views into Mexico, trailing along the edge of cliffs and canyons.
- Our Lajitas Stables trails are geared towards those who have quite a sense of adventure and are athletic. Adventurous beginners welcome!!

A safety talk and an individual riding instruction
Restrictions
- If someone in your group is over 230lbs, please call our office for availability & suitability
- These trails are rocky, rugged, and are considered steep in some sections. We will ride along the side of canyon & cliff edges
- Each rider should be in good health and athletic shape! You MUST be able to mount your horse or mule by yourself with NO assistance and stay balanced appropriately going up and down the hills!
