What to Expect
- A relaxing ride through history, as we mosey through the ruins of the Study Butte Mercury Mine!
- The trail is geared toward beginners, and families with young kids. The trail includes elevation gain.
- For those who consider themselves athletic and are seeking an adventurous ride, please check out our rides out of our Lajitas Stables!

A walking trail ride
A safety talk and an individual riding instruction
Restrictions
- Weight Limit of 270lbs. If someone in your group is at or 250lbs, please call the office before booking for availability & suitability. We have limited mules that can carry over 250.
- Rider should be able to mount your horse or mule by yourself and be able to balance appropriately on the horse going up and downhill, as the animal is balancing itself with you on their back!
