What to Expect
- A relaxing ride to Indian Head, where you have a perfect view of the Chisos Mountains while you eat lunch in the shade of larger-than-life boulders!
- The trail is geared toward beginners, families with kids as young as 8, and those who want a relaxed ride. The trail is gentle with some elevation gain, up and down hills.
- For ages 12+ those who consider themselves adventurous & athletic and are seeking an adventurous and scenic ride, check out our half-day ride out of our Lajitas Stables!

Lunch is provided on trail, so please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions!
Restrictions
- If someone in your group is over 250lbs, you'll need to call the office first for availability & suitability.
- Riders should be in good health and have some athleticism, as you will be on the horse for a few hours!!
- You must be able to mount your horse or mule by yourself and be able to balance appropriately on the horse going up and down hills, as the horse is balancing itself with you on your back!
