What to Expect

Celebrate the season aboard Santa’s Hiwassee Holiday Train, an approximately one-hour round trip from Delano into the Hiwassee River Gorge. During the ride, children can write a letter to Santa, enjoy a chocolate chip cookie with chocolate milk, and welcome Santa for a special onboard visit. Each ticketed guest receives a keepsake boarding pass and holiday bell, while select premium seating includes a commemorative ornament. This family-friendly experience returns to the original boarding location. Rideshare availability in Delano may be limited, so arrange return transportation in advance.
