At Turn Their Heads, we turn complete beginners into confident two-steppers with fun, easy-to-follow lessons — no partner or experience required. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend or just want to learn this iconic country dance, we make it simple, relaxed, and unforgettable.
Learn the basic step plus possibly a spin, turn and/or change of direction as time allows. Come as an individual and dance with an instructor, or bring a partner (book our Private Two Step Lessons for Couples option)!
Get out on the dance floor tonight!
Two Step is a classic country partner dance and generally requires a decent amount of space. The dance travels around the outside of the dance floor like a race track or skating rink. You CAN two step in a small area but that isn't the norm. As opposed to Country Swing, Two Step requires rhythm, and a higher degree of skill than Country Swing. It also requires a specific beat that isn't found in much of today's country music. These factors should be kept in mind when choosing which dance to learn.
