The Acklen family was known throughout the region for their art collection, with each piece designed to enhance their home and reflect something of themselves. You’ve heard that, “art can be a window to the soul.” The art at Belmont Mansion provides a unique window through which we can understand something of the lives and identities of this family who established themselves as leaders in 19th century Nashville.
