Ready to start a new fall tradition? Come see Saluda Lake glow after sunset as illuminated jack-o’-lanterns float across the cove!
The Second Annual Glow in the Cove is returning to Saluda Lake Landing for three magical Friday and Saturday weekends:

Pumpkin Glow Launch at 7:30 PM
Bring the kids, invite your friends, and come dressed in costume—adults and pets are encouraged to dress up too! Enjoy lakeside food and drinks, Friday night karaoke from 6–9 PM, live music on select Saturdays, and an unforgettable pumpkin glow across the water.
Choose your Pumpkin Float experience:
$8 Pumpkin Float Upgrade
Bring your own carved pumpkin, and we’ll provide the floating base and LED light.
$15 Carve & Float Package
Includes a medium pumpkin, access to our carving station and tools, a floating base, and an LED light.
$18 Premium Bundle
Includes everything in the Carve & Float Package, plus one hot chocolate from the café.
The carving station and pumpkin check-in will be open from 5–7 PM. If you are bringing your own pumpkin, please make sure it is fully hollowed with the lid intact. Soccer-ball size is recommended. Please do not use paint, glitter, candles, or glued-on decorations.
Our final night, Saturday, October 24, overlaps with the last Lunar Paddle of the year! Reserve a kayak or paddleboard and experience the lake after dark alongside the glowing pumpkins.

The pumpkin viewing areas are accessible and suitable for guests of all ages, including families with strollers and individuals with limited mobility.
The pumpkin float itself involves access to the shoreline and may not be suitable for those with impaired mobility without assistance.
Boat rentals are not recommended for guests with limited mobility, balance concerns, or those who are pregnant.
All boat participants must wear a life jacket and be able to enter/exit the watercraft independently.
This event is held outdoors on uneven ground—closed-toe shoes are recommended.
