What to Expect

Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime with a Discovery Flight!

This hands-on experience gives you the chance to soar through the skies and feel the thrill of flying a helicopter. When you arrive at Hilton Head Helicopter, our friendly team will be there to answer your questions and guide you through the process. After check-in, you'll meet your Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) for a brief overview of SFAR regulations and basic training.

In just 15 minutes, you'll learn the essentials to prepare you to take the controls. Once you’ve signed your Liability Release and logbook endorsement, it’s time to head to the helicopter! Your expert pilot will introduce you to the aircraft, walk you through pre-flight checks, and then it’s time to take off for an exciting 30-minute flight! Feel the rush as you take control and experience the freedom of flight!
