There are five museum houses and gardens open for visitors to tour in the City. They encompass early Colonial, Federal and Antebellum periods. These homes are filled with priceless antiques of each period and give the visitor the experience of life at each time period. Learn about the families and descendants that lived and preserved them. The "Charleston Single" house was a unique design, not seen anywhere in the US.
