What to Expect

Come join Capt Bryan for a private Shrimp Boil Cooking Class on the banks of the famous Shem Creek. Also known as Lowcountry Boil or Beaufort Stew, this delicacy has been a mainstay of the area for generations.

Guests will meet at a custom built bar trailer with wrap around seating and learn the background of the shrimping industry. From there a shrimp ceviche will be made as guests use fresh ingredients to create the perfect appetizer.

Capt. Bryan will then get the boil rolling and guests will learn how to peel shrimp in little competition with a prize and the proper steps to ensure a perfect lowcountry boil. Local shrimp, potatoes, corn, onion, sausage, and of course a healthy dose of ole bay and some secret blends will create the perfect dinner for guests to enjoy.

Come live the “local life” with Captain B and partake in one of the most authentic local experiences Charleston has to offer !
