Along the way, we’ll explore the rich and complex past of the region, including the remarkable story of The Port Royal Experiment—a groundbreaking Civil War-era initiative. As we float past Parris Island, listen closely; you may hear the cadence calls of Marine recruits in training, echoing across the water from one of the country’s most storied military bases.

This tour also dips into the mysterious side of the Lowcountry, where legends and lore are as deeply rooted as the marsh grasses.
