What to Expect

Since 1962, Viking Tours has been showing visitors to Newport the amazing history of our city. We invite you to travel from the Modern Age to the Gilded Age during one of our specialty tours. Only Viking Tours gives you an insider’s look into Newport aboard our old-fashioned trolleys.

Voted by the readers of Newport Life Magazine as Best Tour – Land, Sea or Sky!

Enjoy the charm of Newport’s historic buildings and restored homes on this narrated tour covering over 150 points of interest. Take in the rugged beauty of Ten-Mile Ocean Drive and the fabulous mansions along tree-lined Bellevue Avenue.

Then get dropped off and enjoy The Marble House.

Once you finish your tour of the mansion, your trolley will be outside waiting for you to re-board and continue your tour. If you are planning on staying longer than expected and wish not to hop back on board the trolley to finish the remainder of the tour, we ask that you let the driver know in advance. You will be responsible for providing your own transportation back to the starting location of the tour.

Includes

3 Hour narrated trolley tour, and then tour the Marble House.
