What to Expect

From October 13-25, as part of its series "On Being American | Contemporary Artworks, Echoes of the Past," Lippitt House Museum will host an exhibition featuring several RISD furniture design students. The exhibition presents a collection of newly designed domestic objects that engage with the social, cultural, and technological forces of late 19th-century New England while offering unique contemporary perspectives on American life, identity, and the relationship between objects and the people who live with them.
