What to Expect
This two-day hands-on course introduces the six systems of a marine diesel engine and combines classroom theory with extensive practical work. Students work directly on a disassembled boat diesel, taking tools to assemble and dismantle each system while learning part function, fault symptoms, troubleshooting methodology and routine maintenance. The instructor guides troubleshooting exercises and common fault diagnosis so participants leave with practical skills to perform basic repairs, maintenance and to communicate issues effectively to a mechanic.
