What to Expect
Step aboard Ladybird, our classic Friendship sloop, for a completely private four-hour sailing experience through Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. With the boat entirely to yourselves, the captain and crew focus on delivering the smoothest, most effortless sail possible. The extended time lets you explore farther into the bay, settle into long stretches of relaxed sailing, and enjoy more of Newport’s iconic coastline at an easy, unhurried pace.
With four hours, you can anchor for a longer swim stop (conditions permitting), enjoy a laid-back onboard picnic, or simply stretch out and take in the views while your playlist drifts through the breeze on our Bluetooth sound system. BYOB with snacks is encouraged, and we’re happy to help you create the perfect vibe for your group.
Whether you’re celebrating, sightseeing, or just indulging in an afternoon on the water, Ladybird’s four-hour charter offers a deeper, slower, and more immersive way to experience Newport.

Restrictions
The 4-hour Ladybird sail may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations, as boarding requires stepping down into the cockpit and moving around a sailing vessel under sail. Ladybird is not stroller or wheelchair accessible. Pregnant guests are generally fine, but should use their own comfort and mobility as a guide. Children are welcome but must remain supervised at all times. Guests who plan to swim must be comfortable in the water, and non-swimmers must wear a life jacket. Those who are highly sensitive to motion or unable to maintain stable footing on a moving deck may find this experience challenging.

Cancellation Policy
Cancel 14+ days before your trip for a full refund. Cancel 13 days–72 hours before for 50% back or a gift card. Cancel within 72 hours and there’s no refund. If we cancel for weather, you get a full refund.
