Our 1-on-1 private surf lesson at La Pared Beach is the best way to learn faster, build confidence, and have an unforgettable surf experience in Puerto Rico. With personalized coaching from a certified instructor, every part of the lesson is tailored to your skill level, goals, and comfort in the water.
Perfect for first-timers or surfers looking to improve technique, this private lesson focuses on ocean safety, wave selection, paddling, pop-ups, and riding waves with control. You’ll spend maximum time in the water with hands-on guidance to help you catch more waves and progress quickly.
All equipment is provided, and lessons take place at La Pared, Luquillo, one of Puerto Rico’s most beginner-friendly and consistent surf spots.

Cancellation Policy
Tours Are Non-Refundable If Cancelled Within Two Weeks of Scheduled Excursion
nWe have a two-week cancelation policy for all of our Private Group excursions. Up until two weeks before your scheduled excursion you may cancel or change your reservation for a full refund. Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the scheduled excursion, late arrivals, or “no shows” will maintain a full charge. All cancelations must be made by telephone or email directly with Surfing Puerto Rico. Contact us at 787-501-7873 and/or [email protected]
Weather
nIf we cancel a tour due to weather, you will be provided a full refund. We make all the determinations about weather cancellations. So please do not make the mistake of deciding not to attend because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will be charged if the trip goes out. If you ever have a question about the weather conditions, please call us to be sure.
