Top Rope Set Up

This service is for top rope rock climbers who know how to top rope belay each other either using GRIGRI or ATC.

This price will include: the adult belayer and the entrance fee for the companion climber and the set up of up to 5 climbing routes of your preferred grade in the range of 5.6-5.10b. Higher grades are overhangs and not safe to top rope because of surrounding trees you may hit if you lose your grip. The price also includes a safety meeting, belay test, bathroom with shower, preset figure 8 knot ready to clip into your harness with a triple lock carabiner.

🧑🏽‍🏫 If you have top rope climbed before but you have never belayed (meaning you have participated in a Guided Climbing service), you can add the Top Rope Belay Course. This is a separate 2-hour course to teach you how to top rope belay which means we have already set up the routes, but you will top rope belay. You will also learn about safety precautions regarding this service, and you will practice it under the supervision of a rock climbing instructor. The cost: $50 pp.

Remember to add any gear item you need to rent. Helmets are required. Climbing shoe sizes range from US 4 to US 13.
