Private Boat Charter to Cayo Caracoles & Nearby Cays Change and Cancellation Policy
nPrivate boat charters require advance planning, vessel preparation, captain scheduling, and the reservation of the entire vessel for one group.
nThe applicable deadline is determined by the date and time at which the change or cancellation request is received by Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC.
nPrivate Charter Reservations — 48-Hour Policy
nAll change or cancellation requests must be submitted and received 48 hours or more before the scheduled departure time.
nCancellations received 48 hours or more before departure are eligible for a refund, less a non-refundable 10% administrative and processing fee calculated on the canceled amount.
nDate or time changes requested 48 hours or more before departure are subject to availability. Any applicable price difference must be paid by the guest. Changes are not guaranteed until confirmed by Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC.
nCancellations or changes received less than 48 hours before departure are non-refundable and are not eligible for credits, date changes, modifications, or transfers.
nReservations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time are final and are not eligible for refunds, credits, date changes, modifications, or transfers.
nPrivate Charter Conditions
nA private charter reserves the entire vessel exclusively for one group. Reducing the number of participants does not reduce the charter price and does not qualify for a partial refund or credit.
nThe total number of participants may not exceed the vessel’s maximum capacity of six guests.
nGuests may bring their own food, beverages, and ice. For everyone’s safety, glass bottles and other glass containers are not permitted aboard the boat.
nDestinations and Itinerary
nThe charter generally includes two stops selected from available destinations such as Cayo Caracoles, Mata La Gata, Rabo de la Gata, Cayo Enrique or Enriquito, and Majímo.
nRequested destinations and stops are subject to weather, sea, environmental, navigational, safety, and operational conditions. Specific destinations are not guaranteed.
nThe captain has the exclusive authority to determine the safest route and available destinations on the day of the charter. Changing a destination or route for safety or operational reasons does not automatically qualify the reservation for a refund or credit.
nLate Arrivals, No-Shows, and Missed Departures
nLate arrivals, no-shows, missed departures, early departures, and guests who do not meet the published participation or safety requirements are not eligible for a refund, credit, date change, or transfer.
nThe charter’s scheduled ending time will not be extended because of a guest’s late arrival.
nRefunds, when applicable, will be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the guest’s bank or payment provider.
nReservations made through third-party platforms are also subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the platform through which the reservation was completed. When the platform’s terms differ, the applicable platform policy will govern the reservation.
nWeather, Safety, and Operational Policy
nPrivate boat charters operate in light rain and normal weather conditions.
nNatural conditions—including cloud cover, rain, wind, tides, currents, water clarity, water movement, sargassum, and other environmental factors—may affect the route, destinations, water conditions, and overall experience. These conditions do not automatically qualify a reservation for a refund.
nThe captain may delay the departure, adjust the route, destinations, duration, or schedule, or make other reasonable changes when necessary because of weather, sea, navigation, environmental, safety, mechanical, or operational conditions.
nIf Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC determines that the charter cannot operate safely because of weather, sea conditions, mechanical problems, or other operational circumstances, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
nIf a charter must end early after departure because of unexpected safety, weather, mechanical, operational, or navigational conditions, Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC will evaluate the circumstances and determine whether rescheduling, a credit, or a refund is appropriate.
nAll weather, safety, destination, and operational decisions are made exclusively by the management and authorized captains of Caribbean Water Cycling, LLC.
