About
Our Intro to Reef Spearfishing course is designed for beginners who are ready to take the skills learned from shore and apply them in a boat-based reef environment. We’ll focus on safe diving practices, buddy technique, fish identification, reef hunting strategy, breath-hold control, and becoming comfortable moving between different depths and conditions.
You’ll work closely with one of our experienced guides while exploring Rincón’s reefs, learning how to approach fish, choose productive areas, and build the confidence and awareness needed to continue progressing as a spearfisher.
All beginner equipment is included
Speargun, fins, mask, snorkel, weight belt, and other required gear are provided. Personal gear is always welcome.
Photos and videos of your trip, snacks, water, and soft drinks are also included.
Beginner courses are limited to a maximum of four divers to allow for more individual instruction and attention.
