About
Embark on a half-day forest tour for your amusement. We will drive to a great area in the foothills of the Rain Forest. The tour will start with an interpretative hike in the forest. You will be able to learn about the fascinating Puerto Rican Flora, Fauna Geography and History. In the area you will also be able to swim in a beautiful river pool. Swinging from a rope to the river is optional but highly recommended. After the visit to the forest, you will taste authentic local snacks like “empanadas” and “alcapurrias” in a very authentic kiosk. On the way back to the metropolitan area the drive will give you some recommendations of restaurants, things to see and do in this beautiful island called Puerto Rico.

- This tour operates even if its rain, except in the case of extreme weather events or any warnings by the local weather authorities or Rainforest Park Rangers.
- Come prepared with a change of clothes, chance to swim in one of the rivers, weather permitting.
- Lightweight, synthetic fabric clothing or a swimsuit is the best.
- Do not walk with flop-flops for safety reasons, sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended.
- Don’t bring any valuables you don’t want to get wet, lost or damaged.
- Anyone who is visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate and will still be charged.

Cancellation Policy
To reserve a space, payment is required. All cancellations are subject to a $10 per person cancellation fee. We require a 24 hour cancellation notice to be eligible for a full refund less $ 10 per person cancellation fee, otherwise full amount will be charged. Peniel Access Eco Tours cancels due to unsafe weather conditions or any recommendation from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NOAA. A full refund will be given if we cancel for safety reasons. Do we still take out trips if it is raining? If it is a heavy rain we may offer you the option of rescheduling or canceling without being charged. If there is lightning close by we will cancel the trip but you should always assume the trip is going out and show up for your trip unless we have said otherwise. The rain and/or lightning may be moving away quickly and may only make for a short delay in our departure time even if it looks bad at the moment.
nIf you paid by Credit Card or through Fareharbor and a refund needs to be issued, please keep in mind it can take 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect on your account.
