What to Expect
Get out of your head and into the build.
This is not a walking tour. This is where you step into the process and become part of Earthship Puerto Rico.
In our Mete Mano Tour (Puerto Rican slang for “get in there and do it”), you’ll work side-by-side with our team on real, ongoing projects. Depending on the day, you might be:
Pounding earth into recycled tires
Building bottle walls
Mixing and applying cob or adobe
Working with natural and reclaimed materials
No experience needed—just a willingness to show up, get a little dirty, and learn by doing.

This experience is not suitable for everyone due to its hands-on and physical nature.
🤰 Pregnant women: Not recommended due to physical activity, uneven terrain, and exposure to heat and outdoor conditions.
♿ Mobility limitations: Not suitable for guests with significant mobility impairments, wheelchair users, or those unable to stand, bend, or lift for extended periods.
🧒 Young children: Children under 10 are not permitted. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
🏥 Health considerations: Not recommended for individuals with serious back, knee, or heart conditions that could be affected by physical labor or heat exposure.
🌧️ Weather exposure: This is an outdoor experience and may include sun, heat, mud, or light rain.
