What to Expect
Cueva Ventana
The Window Cave Adventure, better known as “The Cueva Ventana Tour” is a unique ecologically oriented experience. A 20 minute, of a medium to medium low intensity, hike will take you to discover a live cave that will lead you to witness the most exhilarating and beautiful breathtaking panoramic view of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. During the hike, our bilingual Environmental Interpreters will introduce you in a very entertaining and educational way, to our Pre-Colombian Taíno culture as well as our native flora and fauna. Once inside the cave, our visitors learn about our resident bat population and our non-poisonous giant spider which is typical of this cave. You will see the geological formations of a karst cave like Cueva Ventana and you will discover the Taíno culture petroglyphs and stone engravings.
