Cave Adventure Day

A day far away form the hustle and bustle of the city. Forest, caves and beaches all in one day!

About an hour drive from San Juan we take you to Cueva del Indio (Indian Cave). With a short hike on the beach you enter this natural cave system where the native Taino once inhabited the caves. Situated in Arecibo along the coastline of the Atlantic ocean this Experience has beautiful scenic views, and if desired climb down a ladder to find cave drawings that tell an incredible story about the original inhabitants of the island.

Itinerary

• 9:00 AM:  Pick up from hotel/accommodation or central meeting point at Plaza Colon when staying in Old San Juan
• 1st stop: Local farmers market La Placita de Santurce for a cultural experience and a fresh fruit smoothie 
• 2rd stop: Cueva del Indio / time spend here is flexible / optional time to swim in ocean
• 3th stop: Lunch at local cuisine / location can be discussed, let our guide know any food preferences and special diet
• 3 PM: Drop off at hotel/accommodation or central meeting point Plaza Colon (when staying in Old San Juan)

Note

This day involves some gentle rock/ladder ‘clambering’ low-level skill and closed shoes required. Due to the nature of this tour our age limit is 60 years old without limit mobility.
