Washington Crossing Historic Park offers more than 500 acres of American history, natural beauty, and family fun. Rising 125 feet above the Delaware River Valley, Bowman’s Hill Tower is one of Bucks County’s most iconic landmarks and a favorite destination for locals and visitors alike.
Take the elevator (when operational) or climb the historic 125 stairs to the observation deck, where you can enjoy breathtaking 14-mile views of the surrounding countryside and Delaware River. Capture memorable photos, explore nearby hiking trails, relax in the picnic area, and learn more about the area's Revolutionary War history from our knowledgeable staff and volunteers.
After your visit, continue exploring Washington Crossing Historic Park with a trip to the nearby Thompson-Neely Farmstead or the Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor Center, located just a short drive away.

Restrictions
Bowman's Hill Tower is suitable for most visitors. Guests may take the elevator (when operational) to the upper level; however, the observation deck requires climbing an additional 23 stairs. Visitors may also choose to climb all 125 stairs to the top. Guests with limited mobility, heart conditions, or difficulty with stairs should plan accordingly. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
