Travel to Glen Rock, PA on the historic NCR line aboard the 1800 Coach Cars to a fine dining experience at the Glen Rock Mill Inn Table 1837. Your ticket includes a round-trip train ride to Glen Rock and a 1.5-hour English -style High Tea dining experience at Table 1837 - The Glen Rock Mill Inn.

The English -Style High Tea includes:

A 3-tier collection of English Tea accompaniments to share, including a variety of finger sandwiches, fresh baked scones, lemon curd or jam, Devonshire cream, whipped butter and fresh fruit.

Followed by a glass of champagne with a fresh tossed salad of grilled chicken, mixed greens, and seasonal accompaniments.

We finish our experience with a served dessert of Creme Brulee.

Guests for the high tea are seated in groups of 4, 6, and 8, appropriately planned around groups or couples etc.

• Train Boards at New Freedom Historic Station 117 North Front Street.
• Passengers will deboard the train at the Glen Rock Mill Inn. The train will return an hour later to board passengers to return to the Historic New Freedom Station.

Abraham Lincoln Car

The Northern Central Railway will forever be connected with President Abraham
Lincoln, who rode these rails to and from delivering the Gettysburg Address in 1863.
Sadly, less than two years later, on April 21, 1865, the nine-car Lincoln Funeral Train
would use these tracks when traveling from Baltimore to Harrisburg and beyond. Our Abraham Lincoln car incorporates the look and feel of an 1870s passenger coach. The vibrant car embraces Victorian motifs and features plush green seats that can be reversed to face the direction of travel. Like our other passenger cars, the Abraham Lincoln coach incorporates authentic nineteenth century heating via coal stoves as well as operable windows to bring the outside in and provide fresh, cool air.
