Each Read & Play event includes access to our Imaginative Play area for one 2-hour session. During that time, children will be able to play, explore, and create in a space made for them. This themed event includes a snack that coincides with the book, a craft to take home, and an enthusiastic reading of the book. Parents can also add 'Book Fair Bucks' onto their reservation to allow children the opportunity to shop our book fair collection following the event, which promotes independence and financial literacy. Children are welcome to play throughout the entire 2-hours. This event will follow a schedule, but this is a sensory friendly activity that allows children to participate in each activity at their discretion instead of a formal instructional class.
