10:30am Train & 11:45am Tour Combo Ticket
All Ages • 1 Hour Train Excursion • 1 Hour Guided Walking Tour
What to Expect
When we say step back in time, we mean it.
Locomotives and train cars traveling over the same rails that they have for over 100 years. Buildings, machines, and tools sitting in the same place they have since the railroad ceased operation in 1956.
With this immersive itinerary, you’ll ride the rails behind an authentic steam locomotive and walk through the Roundhouse where those engines are housed. You’ll roll through the farms and forests of the scenic Aughwick Valley and stroll through a belt-driven machine shop that is completely frozen in the early 20th Century. Combining a train ride and a guided tour is the best way to get a one-of-a-kind glimpse into 150 years of industrial history.
“The EBT system probably offers the only opportunity in the nation to tell a comprehensive railroad industry story.”
