Cost/Inclusions: The cost for this one-day trip is $180 and includes round-trip motorcoach transportation for the trip, lunch on your own on Main Street in Frostburg, railbike group rental, Historic Western Maryland Railway train ticket, admission to Thrasher Carriage Museum, light snacks & bottled water, prizes & driver tip.
Depart from the Frostburg Depot at 9:00 am and enjoy a leisurely railbike ride to Cumberland.
A 2+ hour railbike ride with return trip on a historical train aboard the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. Over 15 miles of track mostly on a downhill grade (the last 3/4 mile will require some effort). The route includes beautiful scenery through the Allegheny Mountains of Western Maryland. We will go over bridges, through The Brush Tunnel, coast parallel to the Great Allegheny Passage and wave hello to cyclists as we pass through The Narrows. We will finish the first leg of our tour as we glide into The Queen City, Cumberland, MD.
The railbike excursion ends at the Historic Western Maryland Railway Cumberland Station at Canal Place. The tour guides will point out the restrooms and get you your train ticket to board the train for the return trip on the Frostburg Flyer. Coach ticket is included.
Bring your camera, water, sunscreen, sunglasses, closed-toe shoes, and appropriate clothing for the day’s weather. You may bring a small backpack on the ride & keep it on the back of your seat.
*There is a required waiver that will be sent via email prior to the trip. This waiver will be required by Tracks & Yaks and must be signed in order to participate. If you are unable to sign a digital copy by email, you may sign a paper copy on the day of the trip. Also, they typically run rain or shine.
In the event that there is extreme weather, they reserve the right to cancel the tour or delay until the weather event passes through. Safety is the top priority; they will not run a tour in downpours or thunderstorms. Refunds would be issued in this event, for the railbikes/train only. They have ponchos available for sale in the depot and umbrellas are provided free of charge if needed.
There is a 300lb limit per seat.

NO REFUNDS within the 45 days of the trip, unless a substitute is found for your reservation. Written notice of cancellation is required before any monies are refunded.
