What to Expect
Did you know…
… milkweeds helped our troops during WWII?
… the death of the mother of one of our early Presidents is tied to a native plant?
… native insects are more effective pollinators than European honeybees?
Take to the trails with one of our interpretive naturalists and get a behind-the-scenes look at our region’s native plants. We will discuss what these species are, explore their historical importance, and highlight the vital role they play in our world today.
Preserve Admission is required (purchased separately) and walks depart from the Visitor Display Garden
