What to Expect

When: Saturdays and Sundays, from May 23-October 11, 2026

Train Departure Times: 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm

Join us on Saturdays and Sundays for a scenic ride behind our diesel locomotive, BNSF 3613. Train rides are approximately 45 minutes and depart from and return to the Oregon Rail Heritage Center.

Enjoy the breeze in an open-air car or relax in comfort in a vintage, air-conditioned coach. Along the route, take in city skyline views, the riverfront, local wildlife, and the timeless charm of Oaks Park. It’s a classic rail experience the whole family will treasure.

Advance ticket purchase recommended. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase in the Enginehouse.
