What to Expect
Ring in the spooky season with an evening steam train ride along the craggy Oregon Coast!
This 1 hour round trip train ride takes you south from Rockaway Beach toward Garibaldi aboard our train powered by a historic steam locomotive! The train is decorated in a not-so-spooky fashion to get all of our passengers into the Halloween spirit. We highly encourage passengers, both young and old, to dress in costume!
All children dressed in costume will get to Trick or Treat as they board the train. During the trip, children from each car will have the opportunity to enter into our on-board costume contest! All passengers will be treated to complimentary apple cider to enjoy during their ride!
Don't miss this family-friendly way to get in the Halloween spirit, and avoid the ghosts while viewing the coast!
Seating Options
Indoor Cars
Coach Car - Cushioned seats with windows at each seat that can slide open.
Table Car - Two seat and four set tables with chairs. Fully enclosed with windows that can slide open.
Outdoor Cars
Open Top Car - Open air car equipped with bench seats and without a roof.
All tickets are round-trip. There is no layover in Rockaway Beach.

Dogs:
We do allow dogs (and other small pets like cats) on our train! But only in the outdoor cars such as the Covered Open Car and the Open Air Car. Only task trained service animals are allowed in the indoor cars. Emotional Support Animals and Pets are not allowed in the indoor cars.
Wheelchair Accessibility: The train is not wheelchair accessible at Rockaway Beach. Passengers must be able to climb steps in order to get on board at this location. On board restrooms are not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of the historic cars. If you have mobility issues, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time so we can best accommodate you!
