What to Expect

Pan for real gems and fossils from all over the world on our homemade 116' long gem mine, complete with three series of water falls at our Port Clinton location!

It's as easy as 1-2-3 to put real gemstones and fossils in your hands:

  1. Choose your bag of mining rough
  2. Place part of the rough from the bag in a screened bottom box
  3. Dip the box in the sluice and watch the gemstones appear as the soil washes away!

We have seven different bags of mining rough to choose from. Each bag contains a guaranteed amount of real treasure to be found! Each purchase of mining rough includes a take home collection bag and a fossil or gem ID card.
