What to Expect

Join us for our 1st Paddle The River Outdoor Gear Swap & Sale, an afternoon dedicated to buying, selling and swapping used outdoor gear.

Have a kayak you no longer use? Kids outgrown their outdoor gear? Camping equipment collecting dust? Bring it along!

Seller Space — $15 ( Pre-registration-- up until 10/9/26) OR $20 ( Day before or day of)
Your registration and fee reserves your seller space for the event.

Sellers may bring gently used outdoor equipment including:

  • Kayaks, canoes & paddleboards
  • Paddles & PFDs
  • Paddling accessories & dry bags
  • Camping equipment
  • Hiking & backpacking gear
  • Fishing equipment
  • Bikes & cycling gear
  • Roof racks & vehicle accessories
  • Outdoor clothing & footwear
  • Kids' outdoor gear
  • Other outdoor recreation equipment

SELLERS set your own prices and keep 100% of your sales. Sellers are responsible for handling their own payments and transactions. Cash, Venmo or another electronic payment option is recommended.

Seller Setup

Seller arrival & setup:12:00–12:45 PM
Gear Swap/Sale: 1:00–5:00 PM

Bring your own tables, chairs, displays and canopy if desired. All equipment and unsold items must be removed at the conclusion of the event.

Large items such as kayaks, canoes and paddleboards may be directed to a designated boat-sale area.

All items are sold directly between individual sellers and buyers. Paddle The River does not inspect, certify or provide any warranty regarding equipment offered for sale. Buyers are responsible for inspecting equipment and determining its suitability before purchasing.

Please do not bring weapons, hazardous materials, recalled products or equipment that is obviously unsafe for continued use.

Shopping is FREE and open to the public!

Cancellation Policy

Seller Cancellation: Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to event load-in will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Weather Policy: This event is Rain or Shine. If CVA cancels or postpones the event due to severe weather, all registered sellers will receive a full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date.
