About

Enjoy a 1½ mile stroll through the National Register Historic District while seeing our town's most notable homes and churches. A chronological history of Wilmington is offered from settlement to current day. Topics include Colonial times and Revolutionary War, Antebellum Period, Victorian Architecture, Civil War, 1898 Coup, WWI and II boom times, the exodus to the suburbs, and how Wilmington makes its comeback.

  • This is the same tour as our History and Architecture Tour, but with added fun: a start, mid-point and finishing stop at local watering holes.
  • Minimum 4 people per tour.
