Gather your friends and family for an amazing wilderness Safari adventure in The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee Reservation.

Your incredible journey begins at Scenic Tours and Adventurers in Maggie Valley as we head up the mountain to the Ridgeline trails.

At a mile high the air is cool and fresh as we gaze across the lush valleys and soaring mountains deep into The Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Elk, Deer, Bear, Turkey, Hawks, Falcons, Buzzards and other critters are commonly encountered in the wilderness along the way!

In 2001 The Great Smoky Mountains National Park in conjunction with The Eastern Band Cherokee Nation reintroduced the Elk into the National Park. Learn of their reintroduction, life cycles, struggles, and promising future here in the Smokies.

Your guide will also share Cherokee and early Appalachian history, legends and lore.

Maximum Occupancy: 4 large adults and 2 Small adults/children.

Note: 2 guests will be seated in the 3rd-row jump seat.

Additional info

  1. Unit operators must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  2. Unit operator must have and present a valid USA driver's license and USA proof of car insurance.
  3. Unit operator must have and present car insurance.
  4. Children under the age of 2 may not participate in this excursion.
  5. If your child requires a car seat by law. It is the parent's responsibility to provide the car seat and to install it correctly and safely into the unit.
    6 All guests MUST arrive 30 minutes prior to departure time. as we will leave promptly as scheduled. This is crucial to ensure other guests are not delayed.
  6. Please bring appropriate outdoor shoes. No open-toe shoes.
  7. Please bring layers of clothing as the temperature may change as much as 15 degrees during your tour due to changes in elevation and time of day.
  8. Rainware is suggested as we do not cancel due to rain. Disposable rain ponchos are available onsite however they do tear easily.
