About Beaufort

Founded in 1709, Beaufort is North Carolina's third-oldest town and sits beside the legendary Graveyard of the Atlantic, where more than 5,000 ships have been lost since the 1500s.

Arrival Information

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled tour.

During our busy season we often operate multiple tours each evening. Because our tours follow scheduled departure times, we cannot delay departure for late arrivals.

If you arrive late, we'll do our best to move your reservation to another available tour. If another tour isn't available, your reservation may unfortunately be forfeited.

Weather

Tours operate in fair weather and light rain.

If moderate or severe weather makes it unsafe to walk, we'll gladly help reschedule your tour or provide a full refund.
