What to Expect
Seasonal unlimited lesson package for students working toward hang gliding skill progression and Hang 1 certification
Kitty Hawk Kites offers unlimited hang gliding lesson packages at Jockey’s Ridge State Park for students who want repeated training and accelerated progression. This package is designed for guests serious about improving launches, landings, and overall dune flying skills through repetition and instructor guidance.
Two main options are offered: a Winter Package and a Weekly Unlimited Package. The winter option is ideal for guests with flexible schedules who want to train from November through February. The weekly in-season option is designed for visitors spending a week in the Outer Banks and is available from April through October. A camp package with lodging is also available.
These packages are intended to help students work toward their Hang 1 rating, though ratings are never guaranteed and depend on demonstrated skill and knowledge.
