What to Expect

OBX Brewtag is a whimsical Outer Banks celebration of flight and beer modeled after Red Bull Flugtag. Competing teams build and launch empty 1/6 keg barrels from a flight deck to see whose keg travels the farthest, while attendees enjoy regional craft beer and wine, local food vendors, live music, and family activities. The event blends playful competition with community spirit, and net proceeds support the Rogallo Foundation.

Includes

An empty 1/6 keg barrel when signing up as a competing team
For volunteers: BrewTag T-Shirt, food, & 1/2 a Brewcard (2 Beers, must be 21+ with a valid ID)

Restrictions

  • All dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after
  • Volunteers must present a valid government ID to receive brewcards in accordance with NC ABCC law

BrewTag Team · Teams are limited to 4 participants on the flight deck, but unlimited contributors!$150
Volunteer: Beer Tent · You should be 18 years of age or older, and able to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, &standing for extended periodsFree

Cancellation Policy

If your team needs to cancel its registration, OBX Brewtag will offer a full refund if at least 30 days notice ahead of the event is given. Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. If your team does not show up, no refund will be granted.
