  • Take a ferry ride to one of the best kept secret on the Crystal Coast, Bird Shoal is great for beachcombing, relaxing, sandbars & shallow protected swimming.
  • On Bird Shoal, you will find around 4 miles of pristine beach, a great view of the Beaufort Inlet. This is also a local spot for finding sand dollars and shells.
  • Want horses too? You’re in luck! Horses roam on Bird Shoal grazeing all day. Walk down the great beach looking for sand dollars, shells & the wild horses. CALL FOR TIDES. Birdshoals is a great island for swimming & beach fun. protected from rip currents by the large Sanddollar sand bars.
