Join us for a spooktacular evening of family fun, costumes, candy, and Halloween excitement aboard the Island Explorer!

Before the cruise begins, families are invited to enjoy our annual Transom-or-Treat event at the Carolina Beach Municipal Marina from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Children can visit decorated boats, collect treats, show off their costumes, and enjoy one of Carolina Beach's favorite Halloween traditions.

After the Transom-or-Treat festivities, continue the fun aboard the Island Explorer for our Family Halloween Costume Cruise.

Boarding: 5:30 PM

Location: Carolina Beach Municipal Marina

Departure: 6:00 PM

Once underway, we'll cruise the waters surrounding Carolina Beach and the lower Cape Fear River while enjoying beautiful sunset views, family-friendly music, costumes, treats, and Halloween fun for all ages.

Return: Approximately 8:00 PM

Food & Beverage Policy

Guests are welcome to bring food, snacks, or meals aboard.

No outside beverages of any kind are permitted. This includes bottled water, soft drinks, sports drinks, coolers, cups, tumblers, alcoholic beverages, or similar containers.

A full-service onboard bar and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

• Transom-or-Treat takes place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carolina Beach Municipal Marina.
• Boarding begins at 5:30 PM.
• The vessel departs promptly at 6:00 PM and cannot wait for late arrivals.
• Seating is first-come, first-served.
• Cruises operate rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by the Captain.
• Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
