What to Expect

Cruise just 10–15 minutes by boat to a beautiful uninhabited island, where your captain will prepare a fresh Low Country Boil steam pot from Topsail Steamer of Wrightsville Beach. While you relax, explore the beach, or take in the coastal scenery, your captain cooks everything to perfection.

We provide the steam pot burner and a table for serving. Most guests enjoy gathering around the table to eat, but you’re welcome to bring plates if you’d prefer to make a plate and enjoy your meal from the comfort of your beach chair.

Cancellation Policy

Making a reservation means we reserve that time exclusively for your group and turn away other booking opportunities. Because of this, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellations made more than 72 hours before your scheduled excursion: Full refund.
    • n
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of your scheduled excursion: No refund will be issued. We will either:
      n
    • Issue a booking credit (gift certificate) valid for one (1) year from the original excursion date, or
      • n
    • Reschedule your excursion, subject to availability.
      • n
    n
    • n
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled departure and all no-shows: The full reservation amount will be charged. No refund will be issued.

Booking Credits (Gift Certificates)

Any booking credit or gift certificate issued under this cancellation policy:

  • Is valid for one (1) year from the original excursion date.
    • n
  • Expires after one (1) year and cannot be extended or reissued.
    • n
  • Has no exceptions.
    • n
  • Must be used before the expiration date.
    • n

Semi-Private Excursions

Semi-private excursions require a minimum number of guests to operate.

If the minimum number of guests is not met, Epic Excursions will either:

  • Move your reservation to another available excursion, or
    • n
  • Issue a full refund.
    • n

Weather Policy

Our excursions operate rain or shine as long as conditions are safe.

  • If Epic Excursions cancels due to unsafe weather or unforeseen circumstances, you may choose a full refund or reschedule your excursion.
    • n
  • If our captain determines conditions are safe to operate but you choose not to go due to rain, your reservation will be converted to a booking credit (gift certificate) valid for one (1) year from your original excursion date.
    • n
  • If weather conditions require us to end your excursion more than one hour early, we will prorate the unused time and issue a booking credit valid for one (1) year.
    • n

All booking credits and gift certificates issued under this policy expire one (1) year from the original excursion date. Expired credits cannot be extended, reissued, or redeemed.
