About

Join us for a magical twilight tour of Bynum Lake on the Haw River. Our guides will lead you through the maze of islands, up the river to witness the setting sun or rising moon, and safely back in the settling dark. Along the way we'll keep an eye out for the Haw's abundant wildlife, and we'll take a short pause just below a roaring Class II whitewater rapid!

As a guided tour on gentle flatwater, this trip is suitable for most skill levels, however please note that we will be navigating hard-to-see rocks and occasionally paddling against a light current. Guests are advised that this is a 4-mile paddle trip, and the location is wild and beautiful, without amenities like restrooms or a man-made put-in.

All paddlers under the age of 18 that will not be accompanied by an adult will need to have a signed waiver from either a parent or legal guardian before they can participate in the trip. To fit into a life vest all passengers should be over the age of 8 years old, and at least 30 lbs.

Cancelation Policy

A reservation can be rescheduled or canceled at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive full in-store credit towards a future trip or course. Cancellations or “no-shows” within 24 hours of a reservation will receive no credit or refund.
