About
Looking for unforgettable things to do in Beaufort, NC? Discover one of the Crystal Coast’s most pristine natural areas on this 4-hour private boat tour, starting at just $599.
Cruise 4.3 scenic miles by boat along Bird Shoals, Carrot Island, and Town Marsh, encircling most of the Rachel Carson Estuarine Sanctuary. (Horse Island, the fourth island within the Reserve, is too shallow for boat access.) Along the way, we keep watch for coastal wildlife and search for the descendants of the famous wild horses of Shackleford Banks, often seen roaming the barrier island shoreline.
What You’ll Experience on This Beaufort, NC Boat Tour
We’ll land on the Rachel Carson Reserve either at the eastern boardwalk for easy walking access or on the western side for a short hike along one of the Reserve’s peaceful, natural trails.
This exclusive private excursion also includes water-level views of the historic seaside town of Beaufort, North Carolina, a cruise through the working waterfront fishing village of Morehead City, and a dedicated pass along Shackleford Banks as we search for wild horses from the boat.
Perfect for nature lovers, photographers, families, and small private groups seeking an authentic experience on the Crystal Coast.
