Guided Sunset Hike

Our private guided Sunset Hike at Carolina Bound Adventures is close to Bryson City, NC, and offers a 360-degree view of the Great Smoky Mountains at sunset. With room for 7 Guests, we meet you at a central location for pick up and we drive, allowing you to relax and enjoy the evening. Meeting time is at 6 P.M and drop-off is anticipated to be near 10 P.M. (*pickup and dropoff times shift later as daylight shifts through the summer) Heading out to the Sunset Hike you’ll see spectacular views of the Nantahala River and Nantahala Cascades as we travel to the destination. Our hike is on the Appalachian Trail and the total hike distance is 2.5 to 3 miles round trip and would be considered moderate+ in nature. The Sunset Hike heads up the Appalachian Trail to a peak where an ascent is required to the top of a fire tower. Headlamps are provided for the descent. Advance Reservations Required. 2 person minimum booking required with a 7 guest capacity.
